I'm getting back into my PC gaming and stupidly bought a 24" monitor last year when I should have infact bought a bigger and higher Hz monitor. I did overclock this one to 140Hz but when selecting the refresh rate in modern warfare it didn't like it and left me locked out the game for days until safe mode kicked in and I could revert it.

I think ideally a 27" for 1440P and 144Hz would be fine fo rmy use case. Whats the current best bang for the buck in this range of requirements?

Oh and I've never had a curved screen or anything, Always been put off of them for some reason.

Edit: I know they are pricier but would prefer to keep costs down too.

LG GL850 is the current "dharling"; see the existing threads, which also cover alternatives.

I just got the LG, and it's my first 27 inch, first 1440p and first GSync. Overall, I'm very happy with it (upgraded from a 24 inch, 60Hz monitor.) Recommended.

Thanks, Can you link the threads? It sounds like what I may be needing!
Edit: Just seen the price, Perhaps a little over budget for me.

The LG 27GL83A is very similar, and has been seen on some stonking deals at just over £300 from time-to-time. Might be worth a look at.

Great, Thanks! I'll take a look later on. A quick search suggests they are harder to come by at the minute?

A nice!! Thats a good idea, Hopefully I don't insult him with some offers haha.
