So, wanting a K800i on an o2 contract.

Only the £25 a month deal and £5 insurance.

If my local store has stock of K800i's then can I go in, setup a contract and then that day walk away with the phone? :p

Any chance I could haggle as well with them to get a few more minutes or texts?

One last question, what do I actually need to take with me to get the phone on contract?

ID, bank statements and proof of address?

Yeah, or you could sign up online and get a better deal and (maybe) even get next day delivery :)

They usually want 2 forms of ID and bank details

I won't get the phone for Monday though as its the weekend so next day delivery will be for Tuesday.

I'll be in town anyway on Monday so thinking of just picking up the phone then.

Also going to print off the online deals that O2 and Orange do and see if they will match them in-store?

heres some thing better :)

Go to Vodafone shop on Monday and Walk Out with Phone on Monday...

ask for 200mins 250 texts £25 and a free K800i and take your driving license (or debit card atleast)

/end pimpage

Or I could go to the Orange shop, wave my student card and get 100 minutes and 1000 texts for £25. :p

Don't like Orange's branding of the phone though so might go with o2 and 100 minutes and 500 texts.

Part of me says it's stupid though to not get the better deal because of some branding.

Hey man,

I used to work in an O2 shop, whatever you try to say the people who work there cannot offer you any other deals, the tariffs in store is what you get.

You need to take 1 form of signiture ID and possible a proof of address depending on your credit check. Take a bank card, drivers lisence, bank statement etc and you will be fine :)

Nice one. Unlimited texts.

Will also have to tell my mate about that one then.

Yes £25 pounds a month, wave your NUS card and unlimited texts and MMS, has to be on a 3G handset though. (Which the K800i is)

Is this online as well or instore only?

Only a certain time I can use the texts?

125 anytime minutes plan?

K800i will be free?

Sorry for all the questions. :p

Only a certain time I can use the texts? Any time any network

125 anytime minutes plan? Yep, or the £30 200 minutes plan or the £35 275

K800i will be free? erm.... hard question, Im sure you can wangle it, its not fixed price in store. I would sell it for free

Sorry for all the questions. :p

Cheers mate.

Well if I can waggle it for free I'll be going onto Vodafone then but if not then it looks like the Orange Student deal as they do the free phone.

Also, no way are they going to get me to sign an 18 month contract.

They can get bent. :p
