Anyone know any decent sport shops, i remember when i was last looking most stores had a good range but having a quick look at the regular sport shops theres a choice of about 3 pairs which seems pretty rubbish.

Anyone know anywhere decent?

Cheers mate, their stuff was looking pretty expensive though i found this place which seems really good and pretty cheap with a huge selection.

Any fellow keepers got any recommendations for glove makes, i used to enjoy reusch but not sure whether the market may have changed

Yeah i did like ther personalisation aspect but think the lead time is gonna be too long for me this time

Depends on your budget mate. I got the new Adidas roll finger tip style gloves and can't really fault them. Nice 3 or 4 mm latex padding. If you've got £50 to spare the top gloves at the moment seem to be the Adidas Fingersave.

Ah i ended up with some selsport ones for £30 Absorb Aqua i think they were called which seemed pretty decent and should be ok for me as its only gonna be weekly 5 a side.

I only wear Adidas FingerSaves, after tearing ligaments with all other gloves I swear by them!

I get them from here but then I do get them for next to nothing

Weekly 5-a-side wreaks gloves really fast I find due to wear off the rough ground and the amount of action you get (meaning your hands sweat loads making the gloves smell really bad! ).

Unless you get them cheap like I do I wouldn't recommend splashing out of gloves for 5-a-side, I go through a pair every 4-5weeks or so.

Aye tis why i went for ebay with 2 pairs for £30 rather than 25 each that another site wanted
