So my Hazro WD arrived, got to look at it for all of 30 seconds, before hearing popping sound and goes off.

Wouldn't come back on and closer inspection reveals the bloody power brick has a fair crack in it, so is probably damaged inside, and now in all likelihood has taken the monitor with it!

Am so ****ed off right now. Please tell me I can get OCUK to arrange collection for this POS, cause I can't be arsed with taking the blimmin thing to the PO.

Must say, am not sure whether to go for replacement or refund.

In the short time I did get to look at it, I did notice a nice white stuck pixel near middle of screen, which I would not have been able to live with anyway, and these screens are apparently notorious for stuck pixels...

Just wondering if not worth just plumping extra for a Dell, though never seen one in action and hesitant about the AG coating.

Well, have taken chance on ordering another.

Any problems with this one and will stick with my Iiyama TN til it dies. It may not be perfect, but at least it does what it's supposed to and doesn't suffer from any issues other than being TN :)

Well, my second monitor arrived today and......................................

All is good with the world! Not a single dead pixel in sight!

But, I have to say, now that I have finally seem what IPS screens are all about, I have to give my iiyama e2710hds some credit. Besides some color shift inherent in TN tech, it was a blimmin fine monitor.

Had I not found the 1080p res just a tad too restrictive, I would have happily stuck with it.

Didn't think that going to 2560x1440 would have THAT big a hit on performance though!

hope you havent put your wallet away yet.. now you have to go 6950CF :p

Don't tempt me :-)

The thought crossed my mind already, but the sapphire toxic's have gone up to £280 from the £230 I paid, and I'd have to get the same type (though I know I can mix)

Plus would have to get new mobo and case!

Will see how I get on first though.
