My mate , has just given me his old Ps2, i was thinking of having a stab at GOW,are these games as good as people say?

Yeah, play the first one then the second one. They're both excellent games. The first one was so technically well done, that it was very hard for the developers to top it.

Played back to back you will love them.
With time in between I got incredibly bored of number 2.

I couldn't get hold of the first one but bought the 2nd when I had my PS3. Probably best game I've played this year.
