I'm trying to setup subdomains on godaddy but am stuck.
I added the subdomain wedding, wedding.mydomain.com and pointed it to http://mydomain.com/wedding.index.php.
I waited 48 hours but they still don’t work. I just get a connecting/waiting message and eventually ‘The server at wedding.mydomain.com is taking too long to respond.’
Is that how you add it or do I need to edit the A(Host) zone file?

I can't get the subdomains to load . They work from my employers internet.

I've tried clearing the cache in the browsers

Also tried switching off the router

Tried ipconfig /flushdns

Anything else I can do?

Put this into CMD prompt and post the results of the text file.

Code:
nslookup wedding.mydomain.com > dns.txt

Will save in your user folder usually.

Server: cache1.service.virginmedia.net
Address: 194.168.4.100

Name: wedding.jamesstowe.com
Address: 184.168.221.29

that matches what's on the zone file on godaddy

That's weird. Can you try a different browser? Out of interest which browser are you using at the moment? The subdomain works for me

yes, i tried ie, chrome, firefox, and opera

also tried my mum's machine on the same network but it doesn't work

and i tried a vm win xp
