you overclock it too much it will either freeze or go blank?

I know trying to overclock my i3 for a laugh did the black screen and had to reset obviously because it can't overclock, however I have had experience some very slight issues upping older processors, but never come across gpu issue and for the heck of it I have(or had because msi app gone, but gpuz reads overclock?) 5 profiles on msi afterburner for my gtx 750:

1. Stock
2. + 30 core
3. 30 core + 30 memory
4. 41 core + 80? Memory
5. 41 core + 94/95 memory

As I can't seem to find afterburner program now?? I am set on 5, so that's 1100 core 1300 memory 1178 boost with everything else stock settings.

It's a MSI 1gb OC version so the stock clocks are 1059 core 1253 memory 1137 boost, if you turn both to max they both over 2000 which I did that for a few seconds and no crash? Which is why I'm curious as to if it's meant to act the same as a cpu OC? I don't need a stupid high OC, I'm just intrigued as my last 750 was a normal version and was fine with it of an OC, but not very often I OC.
