I'm going abroad in the next few days, and will be travelling europe. I have 2 mobile contracts, 3g and Tmobile, both of which i personally think have high cost tariffs for use abroad.

I also have a backup PAYG orange phone, however using this abroad can also be costly.

I do plan to use the mobile quite a bit, for calling freinds in europe and back home (UK).

So whats my best option for a cheaper more normal tariff for use abroad? Should i get an european sim card or use calling cards?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Tbh mate your better off using calling cards whilst abroad or perhaps getting hold of a sim card PAYG from there.

Its what i normally do when im in Canada/USA, i have a PAYG sim card for each country and use that when im there. Mind you its still very expensive though to call from there to the uk...

when you`re abroad do you pay for recieveing calls? i`ve just rung my folks out in south africa on their mobile, and i wondered if it would cost them, as it only cost me 9p/min

they`re on vodafone
