Do I need to turn off Data Roaming and 3G or just Data Roaming?

If I turn off 3G will I'll still be able to surf the net or login to say a IM client? And most importantly, will it charge me if I was using 3G to do that?

Thanks for the replies. I just wasnt sure if I needed to turn off 3G. I dont think Ill be surfing the net when I go to Tunisia. That clears it up then! I'll guess I'll just tweet using txt seeing that be a easier way and free with the inclusive txt to let family and friends know and keep in contact :)

If you have data roaming turned off, it doesn't matter if you have 3G turned on or not. Turning data roaming off will disable all forms of data connection (including 3G) when you're abroad.

I doubt your inclusive texts will work in Tunisia either. They'll just be deducted from your balance/added to your bill.

Ah, I see, I thought Data Roaming would just disable me from having a faster connection, and not disable all data connections including 3G?

I think if i remember correctly the O2 girl told me that 1 txt abroad equals to 4 inclusive text...
