Oddly i owned a razer diamondback 3G but changed to a roccat kone thinking it would make me a better player i soon realised that that mouse was already doing its best for me and the rest was down to me to improve. I didnt know that the razer mice are optical infra red i though they were plain lazer. I cannot get use to this mouse tracking seems to not be good for low sensivity. I gave my razer diamondback to my brother. i know that the diamondback and 3g use the same 3G sensor. now im not sure if i should go back to what i know i can use with 800dpi. or go with the deathadder due to it being better shaped? Is there much difference in weight when it comes to the razer diamondback and the death adder.

Funny as i sent that message the roccat kone tech guys got hold me me to say the tracking issues are down the the beta drivers and that they will be fixed in a full version.

I have one and it's awesome. If you're right handed that is. I suggest trying it, you can always sell it on when you're done or if you fancy a change.

The deathadder seems to be the most versatile and best bang for buck mouse that Razer produce, so if you're going that way, it's the one.

I have the razer death adder ( bought as an unexpected present because normally i would not pay as much for a mouse ) but the difference is immense from your run of the line mice. Friend has a logitech and that one is sweet aswell. Deepends also what you want from the mouse, how many buttons, dpi changing in games etc. I would recommend razer for the pretty lights ^^

Thought to edit this, because I just re read you wanted the pros/ cons. With the DA you get a lot of customization abilities for your mouse, From Dpi to 5 buttons on the mouse itself. Which if you play a lot of FPS can be very useful, such as in COD MW1 you can set one of these buttons to be knife and grenade, which helps drastically in game for speedy reactions. The DPI goes up to 1800 along with the polling rate at 100 hz. Updates are released all the time so there is a great support for the product hope this helps.

Cons- cannot change dpi sensitivity whilst in game like on some logitechs, starting to show its age now but is still a great gaming mouse which i can only heap praise onto.

The above is from a previous thread id thought i would copy and paste here for you :) I really like it i play for anywhere between 1 hour to 3 hours a day depending on plans uni etc. Had for over a year and a half not a single problem :) BUY IT.

There website says its on the fly dpi switching. people much not have got the mouse set up correctly. My old diamondback could dpi switch in game.

also when ocuk replaced my coperhead with another deathadder now i have two of them

Cool looks like my new mouse is the deathadder then. Hope i make the right choice. Just cannot get use to the Kone. Look at reviews which say the deathadder is incredible mouse for tracking and comfort.
