Going crazy... Shift 2 activation loop

So, I could play it fine through Steam. But annoyingly, the mods I want to install (unofficial community mod) requires the Origin version.

So, I delete my Steam version, reinstall on Origin. Low and behold, I encounter a issue. When I try to run the game, it just goes into a continuous activation loop.

Has anyone had this? I'm so close to simply re formatting just to get this ****** solved!!! So annoyed!

Another nail in the coffin for EA with me.

Sod it, I have tried a ton of 'fixes' that work for some and not others. Will try a cracked version. I have paid my money.
