Hi all,

Well I'm getting a DOA arcade cab at the weekend and not being totally convinced it will ever work again I thought I'd fit a pc inside it :D

I have checked the general sites for info and it seems I-Pac or Happ are good arcade to PC converters but there is very little in the way of UK links.

Can anyone shed any light on where I would buy the necessary hardware to interface the two? :)

Oh I've also seen a few on the bay.. hmm not my favourite place to shop :o

Thanks,

seeing as we cant list competitors ... how about modding it yourself. im talking about screen and all. (old crt maybe ?)

I done this a while ago, I bought an old jamma cab then took out the board and used the j-pac to connect a pc to it, I also bought an arcade vga gfx card from the same place so that I could use the arcade screen with the pc. It worked a treat, unfortunately I needed space so had to sell it :(

Email my trust if you want links etc.

Great I'll email you now Chaos :)

I guess competitors could come into it though given the specific nature of converter boards and/or wiring looms I never thought about it.

Cheers all,
