Going to go to a dual monitor setup and wonder on the following:
1. Is it best to have matching monitors as I have a 27” dell gsync monitor currently but ideally 24” would fit the space. I might be able to crowbar a 27” in if needed
Current spec: 9900k@ 5GHZ, RTX2080ti, 32GB Ram
2. Would the second monitor need to have Gsync to allow main monitor to use it if I use both screens in games.
3. Would both need to be connected by DP to GPU or can second monitor use HDMI and still be able to utilise Gsync

Thanks for replies

1. Are you wanting to use the two screens to game on or just game on main with a secondary monitor beside it? If its the former then the meeting point of the monitors will be the issue. Unless you have extremely thin bezels its very offputting, at least for me.

2. You can use gsync on either monitor, or both but you couldnt have a game use both monitors as a single display and have 1 gsync and one not.

3. Only works via DP afaik, correct me if im wrong here but mine only works via DP and last time I looked this was still the case.
