Hey, i've currently got a Benq e2200HD 21.5" 1080p monitor and i'm just wondering whether to get another two e2200's or just get three brand new 24" monitors.
I've heard that 24" 1080p looks better than 22" but i'm not really sure tbh.
I'll be using the monitors for gaming and editing on Sony vegas and After effects.
Obviously it'll be cheaper to just get two E2200's but if it's really worth it i'll probably sell my e2200 and just get three 24". Also if you think i should go with 24" monitors what brand and model should i get. Cheers.

another thing to consider is do you have enough desk space, took me by surprise how much desk space my 3 23" screens take up, 22" screens will look good but if you think later you might regret not going bigger then just go for bigger now

Yeah i'll definetly have enough considering i'm gonna be getting the Roccaforte Game Desk or something similar

then the choice is all yours 22" 23" or 24", i looked at 22" screens my self but knew it would not be long before i had wished id gone bigger, i went with 23" led screens in the end, not the cheapest option but they are cheaper to run due to lower power consumption

I'm considering 3 x hanns.g hh251dpb the picture here doesn't seem to reflect that new model number.

This review of the screen seems to indicate it is a pretty quick gaming screen with good responsiveness and low lag - colours are not the most accurate but it will be for gaming rather than photoshop etc.

The review mentioned the older style screen which is chunkier - not LED backlit and a less sleek design. Know of a few on iRacing with 3 of the older style on an Obutto sim cockpit and have no complaints.

The review of the older monitor for comparison.

Although the picture on OCuk shows the older model the model number HH251DPB indicates the newer design. The bezels look pretty thin on this screen and being LCD backlit the monitor itself is thinner and lighter making it easier to accomodate / mount.

I already have an NEC 24GXMW3 and a OCuk 24" value (DGM) VA screen but cannot seem to find another 2 of those so will buy the 3 Hanns G screens for the price I paid for the single NEC screen and then sell the NEC and 24" screens.

Can anybody do better for under £450 ?

Cheers

Ive seen a few of the hanns g setups and thought they looked pretty good, having just gone through the choosing and buying monitors for eyefinity myself the cheapest i could find were the edge 10 24" for £120 each but chose to pay more as they might be a bit to cheap and nasty
