Going for AMD

No doubt there will be many posts querying why you are going AMD instead of Intel, but each to their own really.
Looks like quite a tidy mobo, have gigabyte for my Intel system and can't fault it, was my first Gigabyte mobo after having DFI, ABit in the past for my AMD systems.
Good luck with the build. Will you be looking into overclocking at all?

I am going AMD as there is an offer coming in the shop in town lol so i can save a bit of cash.And as this is my first build i dont want to spend to much as i may kill it 
. As for overclocking i may try it as the cpu is 64 x2 2,8ghz

I have the GA-M59-SLI S5 which is very similar I think, i've never had any problems with it.
i have the S4, never had a problem with it, highly recommend it.
i run BF2142, COD2, WoW no problems with this setup. (current specs in sig)
Although i must confess, when the intel price drops arrive i will be going the C2D route
Another point is that, if you want to go for 4Gb of ram then you will need to invest in a 64Bit OS.

TBO i am not a big gamer i like playing some games. But i am more of a dvd bloke and i make one off hand made greeting cards so i use photoshop CS2 a lot
