I know a little bit about building societies and banks and savings but I want to do some research so I know a little more for the interview.
the job description was a little vague on what I will actually be doing, I am pretty sure I will be the greetings person (providing I get the job) and tell people where to wait etc, but I'd like to know a little bit.
So does anyone have any little facts or information that the average joe may not know but might ask about coming into a building society.
What's the difference between a building society and a bank? Is it just that a building society doesn't have shareholders?
Thanks for any replies.
