Olla,

Well I think when I receive my X800 from RMA I will just sell it on.
I want to upgrade but don't know what.
I was going to do CPU but later in the year prices are supposed to drop like the christmas number one in January, so I'll wait for the CPU then.

I was thinking the X1800 XT or x1900 XT.
Im not sure about my budget.
I found an X1900 XT-X for £310 inc postage but thats stretching my budget.

Your thoughts?

Thanks

X1800 XT 512mb for £205, or if you want under £200, then the 256mb x1800 XT at £164. :)

Aye, I just read the difference between 256 and 512 is minimal so I think I will get the 256 version.
Any more thoughts on the actual card from owners?

If you wanna up the budget a bit more, you can get an x1900 XT for only £241. ;)

£80 more ;)

Ill go with the X1800 XT. I don't require mad performance.

Is there much point in spending the extra on the 512mb version as im stuck @ 1280 by 1024

Not too sure exactly but games like UT2007 could require more then 256MB to eun at 12x10..

Ive got the 512mb x1800 XT for that res, i think its at 1280x1024 and up where extra memory makes the differance, you'll be able to crank up the eye candy like the AA/AF, and welcome to the forums btw Naj. :)
