going from 19" viewsonic lcd to 22 or 24

I too am having this dilemma. 22" Iiyama or 24" OcUK? It is tough choice. Neither do 1:1 pixel mapping, which I think is an essential function for a gaming screen and both are limited connection wise.

I went from a Samsung 226BW (S Panel) to the OcUK Value L2442WD-VA 24" and the difference certainly made (for me anyway) the change worthwhile...and if you are going from a 19" (TN panel) monitor to it, you will notice a very good improvement I would think. :)

I went from a Viewsonic 19" to a Dell 24", it was definitly worth it I woudnt bother with 22" it's not like its something you replace every year is it, I intend on having mine at least 3 years or maybe longer.

I bought an OcUK 24" to replace my 19" viewsonic and it's great, I then bought an 8800GTX and thought - I can run dual monitors with this! So the answer to your question is a resounding yes.

I went from a 19" Viewsonic to a 32" LCD TV WITH NO REGRETS!
Its great for games & the res is ok as a desktop too (I put the startbar at the side).

I went from a Viewsonic 19inch and I am now using the 22inch Viewsonic and you notice the difference. I love it.

If you connect the monitor via DVI you can enable driver bases 1:1 mapping in the Nvidia control panel, does the ATi one have anything like that?
