Hello folks, I have the Corsair 750D at the moment and looking to build a new rig.
Am I right to say this is clasified as a full tower case and not a mid-case?

Im looking for a new case in a asimilar size with full cooling/fans inside already.

Any recommendations?

Thanks folks.

I have a 750D and I would say its a Full Tower. At 22" (~56cm) tall and 21.5" long, it's not exactly small, but having said that, a few "midi" sized cases are pushing 50cm long and tall, so who knows?

What sort of price are you looking at for your new case?

Is the inclusion of fans a must? Most high-end cases don't bother including fans now, as the manufacturers realized that most enthusiasts just replace them anyway, so they don't include them, which helps to lower the overall price of the case.

I recently built a PC inside a Phanteks Enthoo Pro, which is one of their older chassis (If I remember correctly) and that came with a 200mm fan in the front and a 140mm at the back. I did enjoy building inside of it as there are lots of cable routing options round the back, to help keep things tidy. The size of that chassis (even though it's classed as a mid-tower) is actually pretty much identical to the 750D.

I know some Phanteks cases have been a bit hit and miss, but something like the Enthoo 719 may suit. It's bigger than your existing chassis and is pretty well-reviewed. Only downside, no fans, as mentioned above.

Also, if you ever got the urge to explore the world of water cooling, that chassis would be perfect for that as well (I assumed you were air cooling, as you were asking for pre-installed fans, but please correct me if I'm wrong).

Thanks Kangaxx appreciate the advice.
Yes I kind of discovered this was the case as I started to research more and more, those kind of cases are really left empy to allow the user to select their own cooling.
I did see that Phanteks solution you mentioned but read it had some production problems with the power button?

However I have come across the Fractal 7 XL which I like the look of.
Im not looking for an elaborately design case, just something simply which the Fractal 7 XL ticks the boxes.
(It also has the case fans!)

What do you think?

Ultimately, case choice is so subjective to a users' own opinions of how it looks + functions.

There are a few reviews of that case which are generally positive. GN liked the build quality and the general structure (see here), which is normally a good sign that its a well put together box.

As such, if you like it, then I would say go for it.

Edit: That review is for the define 7, not the XL, but I think the majority of the points remain the same
