Would I see much of a performance increase?

My 3800 is running at 2.25Ghz currently.

also have 2GB DDR2 RAM currently running at 281Mhz using 5.5.5.15 settings (cheap RAM)

My GFX card is a 2900XT 512MB running at stock.

My mobo is an Asus M2N4-SLI with a FSB of 225Mhz

aye, I know that, my main problem with my current setup is the crappy RAM and mobo. hence only a 225mhz increase currently.

Any half-decent DDR2-800 RAM and a P35 based motherboard shuld see you right, Shouldn't need to spend more than £150 on all three items.

it is the RAM which is limiting me, and I want to go with Intel anyway.

I have only been playing wow for the past 2-3 yrs. I now have quit wow, and decided to play new games, so I want a better system. So want to upgrade.

I never pushed my Overclock really as I didn't need it for wow

The E2200 has a x11 multi, so even cheap PC5300 memory won't hold back its overclock.
