Going from Windows 7 to Windows 10 - advice needed.

I know there's a Windows 10 thread, but I want to collate all/any answers I get into one place.

I currently have Windows 10 Technical Preview, build 10130, installed on my home laptop. My work are taking advantage of the free upgrade as all their systems are running Windows 7 Pro & I volunteered to make a video (using Camtasia) to talk people through the main differences from Windows 7.

I'm after peoples opinons of important areas to include, really just to make sure I don't overlook anything obvious.

Pin shortcuts to taskbar, use the search menu in start to type program names.

No need to actually navigate through the start menu.

Same as vista onwards..

Come on Bledd, the folks who still want a start menu are the same guys using Yahoo or AOL as their primary email account.

OP: Making good use of multiple desktops would probably be great for work efficiency

Yeah, I'm planning on starting with the Start Menu - I like the way you can right click it to get to anywhere you may need to.

I'm going to cover pinning to Taskbar and also pinning files to the Apps on the taskbar.

I use the search menu by default now, but I guess most people won't remember what everything is called.

I've played around with the multiple desktops in WIN10, but I get multiples of exactly the same desktop - so if I delete a shortcut from one it goes from the other.... I guess it won't be the same on the final release, but difficult to demo it while it's broken!
