been a xbox 360 player up untill now just recently built a gaming pc, everyone was telling me how superior pc gaming was compared to xbox i thought the graphics would be a little better but wow, been playing bf3 and it looks like a completely different game went bk on to the xbox earlier and couldnt play it, looked like ps1 game, quite sad though because dont think ill ever use the xbox again :(

Welcome to the best of both worlds. With things like Fez and Trials Evolution coming out on XBLA recently, there are still a lot of reasons to have console.

If it's multiplatform, there's no question, I buy on the PC, but I've had countless hours of fun on the consoles.

yea if theres a good game that comes out on only xbox then will still play it

Although PC gaming looks much prettier and you get the fun of mods and the like - that doesn't neccesarily mean console gaming is dead for you!

Some games are just more comfortable being played on a console relaxed with a beer! :)

I had a ps3 while i enjoyed some games for the most part a lot of games was hard to play i noticed the slow down and rough graphics a lot more then my friend used too, also i always found it harder to get into the games when sat so far away so i used to sit quite close which ofc made the graphics worse :P

Welcome to proper gaming and the ability to mod, change, alter, solve, edit, improve and ultimately get a better experience from games, with the exception of console exclusive games.

But in the years to come when PC's get even more powerful they will be able to handle emulators for the PS3 and 360 etc and you'll be able to sample those exclusive games.

Also, welcome to a keyboard and mouse, the proper way to play games.

ye the poor frame rate is a lot more apparent when you've experienced pc gaming. also the abysmal FOV graphics etc lol

PC gaming is better with many games, but don’t expect every game to be like that..
I still have quite a few consoles from over the years still in cupboards..

Oh, and good choice to move over to pc gaming..;)
.
