going internet free with work need ideas

One piece of advice, make sure you download all the latest patches and get everything installed (and activated online if necessary) before you leave. One problem I have if I go offline is I've got stacks of games I could play but I'm a bit OCD about needing the latest patch etc.
 
Go old school:

Monkey Island
Blade Runner
Grim Fandango
Dreamfall / Syberia
Broken Sword

With no internet access those games will keep you going easily for 4 months. :D
 
Get some Total War games and their mods.

Rome with Rome Total Realism and I suggest Metro Naval Mod

Med Total War II with Stainless Steel.

Not played Shogun II but it;'s supposed to be good.
 
In a slightly macabre way sometimes I wish I could be cut off from the internet and just plough many hours into gaming, I reckon I've got enough to last me until 2020 at least.
 
I just tried disabling my internet connection and trying Trackmania Canyon (TM2)

You can play single maps and even split screen which I didn't know about!

Rollercoaster tycoon and Rollercoaster Tycoon 2. Theme hospital and Dungeon keeper

They should keep you going for 10 odd years!

^^This +1! I dont get much time to game anymore so I always end up playing online BF although I'd like to go back and complete, Crysis, Warhead, Metro, Far Cry 2, AVP and if I had even more time, driving games like Dirt.
 
X3:TC, it takes months to complete all the plots, also ME1 for a bit of variety.
