Going laptop for fortnite and similar

Its fir a friend whats out there on ocuk for this type of game to play nicely without really breaking the massive budget.

I have set the budget as £800 max, because laptops in this price range will be decent enough to run fortnite etc,

So for upto £800 realistically your looking at an entry level gaming laptop that will do the job, your looking at laptops with 8gb of ram a good enough processor and a dedicated gpu, i am confident that it will play fortnite nice and smoothly with laptops upto 800 quid @ 1080p.

Speaking from experience my laptop which has very similar specs (3550h,8gb rx 560x gpu), plays games that require more power at around 30-40fps average so yea regarding the games minimum spec requirement when compared to my laptop which does not match the minimum requirement.

Fortnite minimum requirements are low, so if you want to keep a laptop for 1 or 2 years or 3 years max it has to be £800 tops regarding how well the laptop will play future games.

Or if you do not care about future proofing, and just want a laptop to play fortnite then your looking at £500 max.

With 500 quid max your looking at a 4 core processor same as the 800 quid bracket regarding number of cores, but likely with integrated gpu or not which will play fortnite fine regarding if the game is run on integrated gpu or not at 1080p and 8gb of ram which is enough so you get the picture.

I am afraid as you may know, laptops cost more than desktops with the same performance.
