I am in the process of buying a laptop (most frustrating thing trying to find just the right one).
Now my main use will be development. My desktop is currently running Vista Business. One thing I am not sure about, is will it cause any problems sharing a project between an xp and vista machine?
I.e. if I open and try to compile a project in VS under XP that has only been developed and compiled on a Vista machine, am I going to encounter any problems?
Or should I just get a laptop with Vista on? And would it need to be Vista business, or would home premium be OK for development too?
Just need to be sure am not going to run into any problems before making a purchase.
