Going Quad - What motherboard & memory do you recommend

Hi there,

I am going quad but i am going to buy second hand and wanted to know what motherboard and memory is best suited for overclocking and compatibility purposes with a Q6600?

What do you recommend?

I have around £175 to spend, but it will be second hand.

I recommend going new. Motherboards are always breaking. I'd get a P5K Premium, and whatever 6400 RAM was my favourite colour/cheapest at the time.

Does that £175 need to buy a CPU too?
Or just a motherboard and RAM?

just the motherboard and ram, i'd like to save as much as possible, as whats left will go towards a graphics card

P5K and Geil 2GB. Comes to less than a ton I think.

Any compatibility problems you can forsee, also is there good overclocking potential?

That should all go fine together, im building the same setup tomorrow when my board arrives so i'll let you know
