Hi

I'm building a rig for my daughter and have decided as funds were a little low to go down the cost effective AMD route.

Now this is new country for me as I have always been a Pentium fan so looking for a little advice.

I have just purchased a Gigabyte GA-M55plus-S3G which is an AM2 board. One thing I have heard is that some of the Processors do have bottlenecks with 800Mhz memory so would like to know what chips you would reccomend which would not have any problem with 2GB of dual channel 800Mhz Memory.

I wont be overclocking the chip, it will just be sat at stock. And the cheapest versions of the AM2 chips, the better. :)

Many Thanks

Im assuming you dont need a mobo as you already have one, and i think that one has onboard graphics.
