Going to Cloud and Reducing Dependency on a Given Computer

Hi Guys

I am interested in the concept of reducing my dependency on a given computer and moving most of what I do to the cloud. Things I need to do are word processing, using spreadsheets, web design, php coding, .net coding, storing photos, graphic design, photo editing, video editing.

Could I have any recommendations for moving to a cloud based setup. Of most interest to start with would be the word processing and spreadsheet recommendations. Continuity of service and reliability are important to me.

In my opinion if I was going to leave my data in the hands of some cloud based company, I would check to make sure they are using some kind of DLP and encryption technology.
