Going to look at a Sony GDM-FW900 CRT need advice ?

Going to look at a used Sony GDM-FW900 24" CRT tomorrow.

It's obviously an old monitor but I can get it pretty cheap.

Need some advice what to test or check for ?

Thanx guys keep the advice comming and keep the LCD praise to a minimum Too much disease out there

Been through quite a lot of LCD's sent them all back or sold them off

I know CRT dim over time. But how to check that properly ?

You'll need some light measuring equipment, test contrast then compare that to a brand new FW900.

I know that would be ideal but impossible
