Hi all

Got a little mini-project to start, but I'm just after a few things.

1. Refrigeration Pump. Now, would a normal pump that you get with watercooling work as well with refrigerant or does it have to be a refrigeration unit to work properly? Or will any pump do?

2. Where can I find these? lol

3. Refrigerant.... again, where is this purchased from?

What my idea is, is to have some 6-8mm copper tubing snaking around the back-end of my reserator v2 to slightly chill the water in the back (hence reducing the water temperature). I then plan to cover this area in order to lock in the cold-ness at the back.

However, do I need anything else or can I just simply connect a pump up to some piping and just loop a feed and continually pump the coolant, or will it eventually warm up?

Thanks for any help, links to where to buy or info. :)

Interesting, yeah! But slightly different to my idea. I don't want to place the copper piping into the actual water as that will cool it massively. I just want to place it around the actual resevoir part to chill it, say perhaps for example from room temp 24ºC to say 10ºC. But that link helps, definately gives some ideas.

Where do people purchase these kind of parts from though? I'm after a small pump really, nothing massive or powerful.

Thanks. :)
