Going to New York - Plane (what currency)

I know someone will know here. Stupid question -

I'm flying to New York in two weeks with Delta and want to buy drink etc onboard the flight. Just wondering if I'll be able to use USD (dollars) instead of GBP?

Yes, you'll be able to use Euros as well probably.

Still shocks me that US carriers make you buy drinks on intercontinental fights.

just flew delta, drinks were $7, 5 Euros or 4 Pounds.

Only europeon beer they had was heiniken from memory.

it will just be a normal 330ml can probably drinks are a rip off on planes (thats why I like BA they give you free booze!)
