Before i do some internet research i thought id ask the squad/fam if they found any little gems to visit whilst there.

we are staying in the Dancing Hotel that weird twisty building, looks cool.

Mrs Efour wants to go to the zoo so i said only if we can go to a gun range. Maybe combine the 2?

Any suggestions.... nice restaurants? Places to avoid !

Also going for 4 nights in December, tuning into this thread.

Looking at doing a day trip to that skull Church place. Will do the xmas markets also and the sightseeing bus.
yeah xmas markets was on the list. Skull church ? :P i guess ill look it up.

I was about to create the same thread - no hijack intended @Efour

We're booked up to the same exact same hotel for three nights in December and we're looking forward to the Christmas markets along with a few of the other suggestions posted here.

lol no worries we leaving next Monday.
all we've done so far is look up places to eat and booked a really cheesy medieval banquet style dinner thing with cliche fire breathing juggling strippers. Looks like a complete tourist trap but its free booze so ill probably drink the cost of the ticket anyway :P
Im usually very stingy when it comes to hotel rooms but now we have a night in a 5 star with a converted clock tower in the room and 4 nights in a "ginger suite" at that dancing hotel....
Prague really doesn't look very big!

Lol getting so many restaurants and pubs to try gonna have to be eating 8 times a day .

Whats the deal with ATMS in Prague?

i look on google for bank or ATM and next to nothing shows up except a cluster in the south west of town?

Ok I am here now.
Staying in dancing house hotel.
A very quick opinion from a tired and hungover me.. I've been drinking on and off since 3pm.. I'm too old for this lol

The Christmas markets are a huge disappointment. The same company basically renting out modular huts selling the same products, food and drink. The same 7 or 8 huts over and over no matter which area you visit. I dunno why I was expecting a more homey feel. It's exactly like the Southbank in London. They sell eBay tourist tat and some cooler things but it's under whelming. I really am miserable lol.

It's chilly now wrap up warm.

Food and drink is cheepish. We been going in the weird back street places and trying anything not pizza and pasta which dominates tourist areas.
Fried cheese... Dumplings and meat, duck chicken. It's all good. Roasted Pork knuckle, which always seems to be strangely expensive considering to what I cóok it for :p
The spiral bread cakey snack is good. Food is good after all. Kinda wanna kebab tomorrow. Eyeing up a place already lol.

Public Toilets are as annoying as Berlin, you have to tip for a wee. Bugs me coming from Sweden/London. This is a me issue. Have a pocket full of euro coins or crowns.

Prague boat tours. Naff. One of the weakest I been on. I love a boat tour getting pics from the river there's just not much to see except Charles Bridge and castle.

Architecture dream here. You can walk around for days i imagine, slippery stone cobble floors wear good shoes if wet. :P
Public transport is really good and frequent for longer trips.

I was expecting a little more. Probably because I'm comparing this to Paris and Copenhagen which we have recently visited too. I'm a Londoner aswell which makes judging places on shopping and dining incredibly bias :p

My last full day here tomorrow, I've taken 600 pictures lol it's been cool.
I'm a harsh, grumpy reviewer it's a very beautiful place, comparatively cheap, easy to navigate tons to see and do, endless shopping and restaurants and bars and right now mulled wine :p

I love going in supermarkets too, I'm a weirdo. I love places where booze is often cheaper than water and coke :p en priorities.
Toiletries cost a bomb here too crazy compared to Sweden/UK.

Urgh i better try get a few hours B4 breakfast. The sausages here are ridiculously good not sure if it's German or Czech or what it's called but I could probably just eat them for the rest of my life and be happy.

Dancing hotel is meh, beautiful view but service and food average. It's not bad but it's not great. They promised me RGB lighting but it's stuck on purple. Very meh :p

Goodnight

Went to the zoo today, one of the best I've visited.
Took a tram to some hipster feeling suburb, saw a Christmas light display, naff :p ate a appley cake thing, dry, drank more mulled wine felt meh.
Went to a hugely recommended kebab place for a late lunch early dinner. Very nice.
Tomorrow we going to Berlin for 3 nights. Meet an old friend and her Australian husband, ripper. He wants to go to one of these techno naked sweating rubber fettish bars. No. They live in Kruezberg .... Any tips. My 2nd trip to Berlin I'm just gonna eat pork and shop for a pixel phone case... Life goals.
Had a drink in the ice bar on top of the hotel, I'm so scared of heights I can barely be around big windows and the roof terrace just scares me. I'm a fun guy
