So I went to London Zoo yesterday, lovely zoo, shame about the weather which was very overcast with the occasional torrential rain.

Anyway I got a few ok photos in the end though. I decided to shoot RAW the entire day too, the first time I have done so.

First the Oriental small-clawed otters

The light was terrible most of the day and so some extreme shutter speeds had to be used for a few of the shots, I got as low as 1/15 at about 250mm with which I am mightily impressed (handheld).

Ooh, very nice and sharp

I went to London Zoo too the other week and got some okay snaps, not as good as yours though.

I like the one of the meerkat standing up

I think Otters are great, I could watch them all day, love that expression on #3

Your two shots of the Iguana are the picks for me, very sharp and good framing
