I have an i5 4670K that iv yet to overclock due to being worried about ruining the system, i have a Phanteks U-Type Dual CPU Cooler with 2 x 120mm Premier fans

Can i use this to over clock is it good enough ?

I would say this cpu cooler is enough to keep your overclocked chip cool
Here it's link to review of it where they tested i5 3570k

If you want to overclock, this is what I done when I purchased my last 2 computers that I build.
1. Dont overclock check if everything is okay with cpu gpu etc just in case you have to rma something.
2. Check temps of cpu under load ( I use OCCT Linpack for about 30 minutes to check if overclock is stable then I will tune in further and run real world aplications) to estimate potential headroom for overclock.
3. Update your motherboard UEFI and all your drivers.
4. Now you can overclock :)

When I started to overclock my cpu I7 4770k I started with simple 4.2ghz overclock at 1.2v. Then I went up to 4.3ghz and at 4.5 I need around 1.285. However every chip is different. Please note that overclocking reduce lifespan of cpu and increase heat output. Also you doing overclocking at your own risk. I had I friend who burn his i5 4670k because you put in voltage too high. Just remember do not go above 1.3v for 24/7 overclock. Hope this helped

Also I completely forgot about temps do not exceed 80 Celsius degree under stress test such as prime95. I wouldnt recommend go above this. So please check when you put in your overclock.

My overclock on 4670k is 4.4ghz on 1.275v
Going strong for the last 150 hours
Will attempt to get lower voltage temp at max load 64 and voltage regulators 54
4.5Ghz at 1.3v temps to high 80+

Any tips in overclocking on an Asus VII hero
I am rubbish

Is it safe to push 1.5v on samsung green ?
They are almost stabile 2400mhz 10 10 10 28 at 1.5

I don't know as I never owned samsung ram and at the same time I'm not that guy who overclocks ram as I'm mainly gaming and doing some rendering for youtube. Personally I don't find high speed ram beneficial. Sorry but I cannot help maybe others could help you.

Also to your overclock you can visit 8pack for more guidance as I own MSI board and I dont know if there are any additional options that may help you get it stable. I would say just try to lower your voltage on 4.4 as low as you can because 100mhz it's not worth it for temps 15 degrees higher. Also if I may ask is there any particular reasons why you are over clocking your ram as without ram over clock you maybe able to get lower temps or over clock it higher.
