Hey guys.

Currently I am running a PhysX card, but there are not that many games taking use of it (currently playing metro though)
I am soon to be watercooling my system so watercooling the 640(for the sake of uniformity) is just adding unnecessary complications into the loop.

What would you guys do, Get a universal block and WC the 640 or just do away with it altogether?

My main cards are 660 in SLI.

Thanks

Just leave the 640 out of the loop and on air? That way you can remove it as and when you see fit without disrupting the loop.

My thoughts are simply why the hell are you bothering with a PhysX card when you have 2x660?

Surely to god, you are not actually using it instead of the GFX Cards?

Thanks guys.

I think it would look wrong and since I like things to be 'right' I would want to keep it uniformed and either have it in WC or not at all.

Rakoon, Surprisingly it helps - PhysX doesn't use an awful lot of power to run compared the the game itself and frees up the main card to render the game.

I did a few tests and found I gained around 5FPS using the 640 as a dedicated card, at least in Metro 2033 & last light.

Thanks

5 FPS?

Is it even really noticeable? Ok then use it... Treat it as any other GFX card and throw another block onto it ... Hell why not?

Trying to guage if that was sarcasim or not

After some decision making I decided not to keep it , its going to cost another £60-70 to add the 640 into the loop and its just not really viable since the card itself is only £70.
