Who will get the Golden Boot this season? Now that RVP and Rooney are on the same team, I don't see them scoring as much goals individually. I'd love to think they can still rack up 25+ goals but we will see.

Rooney
RVP
Aguero
Mario Balotelli
Tevez
Cisse
Torres
Saurez
Demba Ba
Adebayor
Lukas Podolski
Nikica Jelavic
Giroud
Defoe
Lukaku

Can a mod make a poll?

Could be Torres's year if Chelsea settle but I'm going to say Tevez. He scores for fun and I can see him becoming City's main man again this season.

Obviously Rooney, Van Persie and Aguero are in the mix though.

The commentator on the NEW vs TOT game said Defoe was 50/1 to get top goal scorer this season. He's a lone striker at the moment so worth a cheeky quid if the odds stay.

Personally I don't think he gets enough time or credit.

Surprised to see the likes of Adebayor on there who will really struggle to get a game at MC, yet no Defoe who is pretty much guarenteed to start every match when fit.
Also has "Ba" and "Demba Ba"?

Anyway personally I'd opt for Aguero.

I thougt Ade was set to sign for Spurs, no?

Didn't notice I had Ba in there twice. :p

The clever money says Defoe given that he will play most games this season (and is a great striker).

The way Man City set up last week, and together with the amount of goals scored last season you would suggest one of their strikers. However, the strikers will be rotated.

RvP will put a lot of goals away and in turn Rooney will thrive.

Chelsea will be firing - Torres has a great chance to win the golden boot.

All things considered,

My vote goes to Rooney.

Might be wrong but I think forum polls might be limited to 10 choices. I came up with a list choosing the golden boot winner last season, 1 striker from the top 8 clubs last season, plus a generic "Other" option. Not a perfect list because e.g. Jelavic is perhaps likely to be outscored by e.g. Tevez if he plays, and there are some decent strikers at 'lesser' clubs that might also fancy their chances e.g. Bent.

Aguero
Rooney
RvP
Suarez
Torres
Podolski
Defoe
Cisse
Jelavic
