Could you please QUOTE my thread and BOLD your nominations for each catagory, if possible give reasons at the end as I think it would be interesting.

I'd give mine now but that took a lot longer than expected and I am knackered.

Sorry about the retailer of the year award, unfortunately OcUK weren't nominated :p so you'll have to guess who is who I am afraid.

The Sun Family Game of the Year:
LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy

More fun than anything else and completely pick up and play for the youngsters. Just nips Viva Pinata to the award.

Bliss Girls Choice of the Year:
Sims 2: Pets

Girlies like pets. Enuff said.

Handheld Game of the Year:
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords

Haven't got a handheld and this is the only one that I've heard consistently good things about.

T3 Innovation of the Year:
Nintendo Wii

Nothing beats smacking your other half round the head whilst taking a vigorous swipe at the ball in Wiitennis.

Mobile Game of the Year:
Haven't a clue. My phone is ancient.

The Nuts All-Nighter Award:
Company of Heroes

RTS games keep you hooked for hours and they don't come much better than this one.

Nintendo Game of the Year:
Wii Sports

Get the whole family involved! Everyone loves the bowling.

The One to Watch:
Crysis

What more is there to say! Hahaha.

Online Game of the Year:
Gears of War

Does have its bad moments when other players go off on their own but otherwise great fun.

PC Game of the Year:
Company of Heroes

The only one I've played just before I sold my PC and went to consoles.

PlayStation Game of the Year
God of War 2

Briefly dabbled in God of War 1 and this is supposedly even better.

Sonopress Publisher of the Year
Microsoft Game Studios

Lots of games I like - Gears of War, Viva Pinata, Halo 2, Kameo

Vivendi Retailer of the Year:
Competitor

The Jersey one.

BBC 1Xtra Soundtrack Award:
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories

Never played it but if the soundtrack is 80s like Vice City, then it has to win.

Next-Gen.biz UK Developer of the Year:
Rare

Viva Pinata!

Ultimate Game of the Year:
Gears of War

Excellent cover system. Excellent fun especially in co-op mode.

Xbox Game of the Year:
Lost Planet: Extreme Condition

Not choosing Gears again so this was my second choice. Despite weird storyline, the game kept me hooked to see how things panned out. Thoroughly enjoyed it despite moments of annoyance when the screen was completely clouded through smoke and explosions.

Only game my entire family were interested in playing

T3 Innovation of the Year:

Nintendo Wii

The Nuts All-Nighter Award:

World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade

Possibly an unpopular choice but it is the only game on the list I played for large periods of time

Nintendo Game of the Year:

Wii Sports

Because of its ability to get the whole family involved. As mentioned above.

The One to Watch:

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

If anything is going to beat WoW, its this, and that would be huge. For that reason alone it should be watched.
The rest are mostly sequels.

Online Game of the Year:

World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade

PC Game of the Year:

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars

Back on form after the disapointing Generals

PlayStation Game of the Year

Guitar Hero II

Sonopress Publisher of the Year

Ubisoft

R6: Vegas, Splinter Cell: DA and GRAW 2. Not the best games in the World but an impressive list for one publisher. (I bet they love Mr. Clancy)

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories

Surely this should have all the choices? I would say the Darkness or C&C3 but they aren't there!

Xbox Game of the Year:

The Darkness

Just as short as GoW but the story was complete :p
Everything about this game, from start to finish, impressed me.
