Golden Wonder, Why So Strong?

What is going on with Golden Wonder crisps? The flavour is far too strong. I am talking specifically about cheese and onion and salt and vinegar, I'm not sure what the others are like. The strength of the flavour is ridiculous. Do people like this? Someone must have sat in the Golden Wonder factory and decided that these were perfect. Are they INSANE?

Shall we write them a 'strongly' worded letter?

Golden Wonder salt and vinagar are the best crisps in the world. Nothing better than a REALLY strong pack of S&V that takes you breath away

You should try some Tayto's if you want to see strong. Tho saying that, Tayto now own GW IIRC.

Pah, a good old fashioned packet of salt n' vinegar Discos used to be strong enough to make you pucker up your mouth. That's what salt n' vinegar crisps are all about, now even Discos seem to be weaker.

Well that is damn true but only if you get a good batch

There have certainly been several packets that I've had.....especially out the multipacks....that could be deemed questionable!

I cant remember the last time i seen a packet of golden wonder, all we get are crappy walkers at the work shop and our local corner shop.

I live in the town where their main headquarters used to be (in Market Harborough, Leicestershire) - it's now a dilipidated building that absolutely noboby wants to buy or redo. I'll probably take photos of it later if I ever go downtown.

The company's basically taken a nosedive in recent years, I'm amazed they're still going strong.

I once had 4 packets in a row. Had ulcers in my mouth for weeks afterwards. Nasty things!

Can't bear most crisps now, they are way too soft or awful

Only have Walkers Sensations at the minute!
