I'm in the market for some new headphones as my sennheiser HD490 are nearly as old as me and the padding has all gone and sound is intermittent in one of the cans as well.
Seen a lot of people mention the Goldring NS1000, wasn't really after noise cancelling as much as comfort and sounding good, but if it has it that can also be useful.
Lots of good feedback around for them and at £50 down from £150 strike me as a bargain. Only negatives seem to be some people say there is some creaking in the plastic if using them on the go. Can you really hear it though if listening to music? I'd probably just be using them for my computer and hifi anyway so shouldn't even be a problem?
Anyone who didn't like theirs, what are you using as an alternative? Are there any other headphones I should be considering at this price point?
Cheers guys
