Golf 7 1.2tsi or Audi a3 sedan 1.4tsi

You don't need the camera or autopark as it is a hatchback and easy to park anyway. Test drive them both, personally I didn't like the Audi interior at all and the outside looks bland but it is personal taste. I certainly wouldn't buy either without a drive in them though.

The A3 he's after is a saloon.

Autopark is a gimmick though, but a camera is nice to have.

Remember a few years ago everyone said auto handbrake was a gimmick.

Now it's a must have. :p

The problem with Autopark is it won't work unless the gap is massive. So for anyone who can actually reverse park properly it ends up skipping loads of dooable spaces.

Then helps you park in a huge one you could stick a bus in.

I think autopark has improved. This car manages it in a tight-ish.

I suspect testosterone fueled men will be here to tell me that space is not tight and they could park an A380 in there.

Most people I know with auto park have experienced, at least once, that the car will often park itself well enough in a tight space, but not be able to get itself out again.

The auto park on my tiguan is flawless... it will drive out for you too...

Tried the car again... the 1.4tsi is a bit revvy but seems to move car ok. Its no rocket

No, it's still a gimmick! :p Ford's autopark is rather good though, have no experience with any other makes version of it.

Although a friend of mine learned to drive in a car with it, and recently drove to work whilst leaving her handbrake on.:confused::eek:
