Golf on 360

Looking for a decent 2 player golf game - Tiger Woods 08 any good or is there better? What improvements over the 07 does the 08 version have, just tighter graphics?

I'm just getting into Tiger Woods 08 myself after downloading & trying & enjoying the demo on live.
I went & bought a copy the very next day i thought it played that well. Striking the ball is perfect & feels real skillful using the left stick, Just draw back for the backswing & then just push the stick through the ball for your strike, Draw & fade is built in & just as sweet to use.
I played 18 last night & struggled on the outward 9 but managed a couple of birdys on the back 9. GFX wise it's not great but it is free flowing & does look good enough, Bare in mind i use an SDTV.
Features, Gametypes, Customisations are Excellent & i can see this game getting a serious amount of time spent on it by me. Single player is Awesome & set up nicely with a gradual learning curve but goals that are within reach from day one.
The best thing about the whole game though is how it uses the 360 controller & just how good & natural it all feels. I don't play or watch Golf irl but used to played Untold PGA golf back in the day, TW08 gives me the same feel but with improved control & better GFX's.
I'm Chuffed to bits to find a game on the 360 that has finally drawn me in & that i want to play instead of Any of my PC games. The slow pace & wireless controller & my armchair makes for Perfect chilled gaming & I am looking forward to taking my char to the top :D

Yes you can.

Tiger Woods 07 is excellent title too if you dont want to get 08, although 08 is better in my opinion.

Also 3D Ultra Mini-Golf on the Live arcade is good fun too. Think its 800 points
 
Scored my first Eagle last night on the 10th :cool: It felt Fantastic & i cannot remember the last time i got such a great sense of achievement via my gaming whether online or off. My game is still not up to much yet over a full course but I'm starting to get to grips with it & am now putting a few decent holes together. Last night i had 2 birdys & the Eagle but totally messed my round up with 2 bogeys & a double bogey on the 18th.
When you do get a shot/hole right it feels real good though as using the stick takes skill.
Top game so far :cool:
 
you can get o7 for less than a tenner. bought me and my bro a copy and we lose hours playing it. good fun. couldnt see the point in spending 20-30 quid more for the 08 version
 
After reading reviews apparently the controls have been improved/smoothed out. I exchanged old non played games for it anyway & got a 2nd hand copy. I'm not one for spending if i don't have to.
 
although TW08 is good its a shame you don't have the excellent Everybody's Golf 5 for the PS3, simply the most beautiful and excellent game of golf going
 
Everybody's golf on the PSP was the most fun i've had in a sports game for a long time, shame I dont think it will be making it to the xbox :(
