So ok I could have searched but looking at the basic procedure for migration in terms of broadband.
Now i know I need a MAC code to allow a minimum downtime to occur but is it just a simple case of phoning my provider and informing them I will be switching to another provider and ask for a MAC code?
What i dont want to happen is to be left without the net for weeks, if I am to terminate there is probably a timescale my provider(BT) will put me on before they deactive the thing?
