Good 120mm LED fan

i got myself some akasa AK174CB-4BLB from the fans and grills section of this site, there pretty quiet, spin at lowish RPM (2000) and glow very bright blue, there also available in red, green and multi-colour

I take it you want to replace the fans in the Aurora bbreezeuk? I've changed the front one but need some more rear ones.

How much airflow does the Akasa fan push out Gashman? Noise isn't really a problem as i've got a fan controller but i do want good airflow.

Thanks

SilenX make LED fans - these are probably the best LED fans out there. Be aware though, there are much better fans that have no LEDs in. ;)

Yeh, i had a read through the 'More 120mm fans' theread and have decided to get two panaflo M1's for the back of the case. I'm ordering tonight :D

I could recomend the Asaka Amber, but this isnt a LED. If you want to light up your case a bit get the Amber (refelcts some light) and get your self an Asaka Cold Cathode. They are pritty neat ive got 1 in my case. Compared to the Bleue LED fan its great.

thermaltake thunderblade fans, i have 2 of these puppies, they throw out around 70cfm top fans

Yeah quite a lot of airflow, but pretty noisy. Considerle difference between the CM 12cm in stacker (silent but not much airflow) to the Thunderblade.

Aerocool led fans are quiet, ive got a 140mm in my case but ive heard the 120mm one is also quiet.

Another vote in this direction. Got a red Tt 'blade 120mm strapped to one side of my 120.1 rad at the moment.

Hi all,

Just got my Panaflo M1's fitted in the back of my Gigabyte Aurora and the amount of air they push out is sweet

bbreezeuk do you really need LED fans? I can't hear these at 7v yet they still push loads of air.

to give you an idea of how good they are, look at this screenshot of my new temps.

The old CPU temp was 32 idle and the old graphics card temp was 64 idle.

These are great fans but i warn you, if you get them, do not touch the blades whilst spinning, they cut you :D :p
