Good 2.0 speakers?

Can anyone recommend decent 2.0 speakers, im still using Creative SBS250 Speakers that are like 20 years old.

Whenever Ive tried new speakers in past ive hated them and sent them back, either they have overdone bass or tinny sound.

You should be able to pick up some decent active bookshelf speakers for that, Edifier have some good options.
