My friend is looking for a 22" monitor up to £200. I'm trying to find her a good one that is 8-Bit so has decent colour reproduction, and a PVA panel or something. None of this 6-Bit TN panel crap like a lot of 22" monitors are, just so they can advertise a low response time to the uneducated.

Any suggestions?

well for £200 you will never find a non TN Film 22" sadly. In fact there are only a couple of models which arent TN Film in that sector anyway. So you'll be stuck with 6-bit+FRC. Tbh though, you can still get very good colour reproduction and colour accuracy from a TN Film panel, most users would not be able to tell any real difference in practice between a 6-bit+FRC panel and an 8-bit panel i would say. Viewing angles are the main differences really between TN and VA panels nowadays.

Well thats really ridiculous...
In that case, whats the cheapest 24" with a PVA/MVA panel? i dounb theres one or under £300?

Looks like it will have to be a TN....

After reading this thread, I advise you buy the OCUK 24".
