So I've been using a 17" monitor for some time, but now I'm getting close to buying a new monitor, and step up from a 1280x1024 resolution!!
I use a HD 5770 for gaming, and I understand that it may not cope too well with some games on a high resolution of 1920x1080, but I assume that I could easily lower it to something like 1600x900 and it will still fit the screen?
About the monitor itself, I'm really interested in one of the LED monitors, and two that have caught my eye have been the Viewsonic VX2250wm (£140) and the LG E2250V (£145). Anyone got any experiences on either of these monitors? Pros for the Viewsonic is that it is cheaper, and has the 'power brick' integrated into he back of the monitor. Pros for the LG is that it has HDMI while the Viewsonic only has DVI.
