I currently have a Dell 2209WA and it's fantastic however it's developed a fault where a vertical yellow line appears in the centre of the screen. Tapping or pushing the top centre of the screen can make it go away, because of this I'm sure it's a loose flat flex cable or something. Should be an easy fix but I'd rather not try fixing it without having a backup if I end up cracking the panel, once fixed I can use it as a second display.
I'm looking at 27" monitors, in terms of requirements...
The AOC Q2770PQU seems pretty good and is on special but is out of stock, the Dell U2713HM seems to be good too but is it worth the money over the limit I've set and the AOC? Thoughts, other suggestions or advice?
edit: I just got my P60 today and it turns out I paid too much tax last year
I have no qualm spending the extra on the Dell now, it was the only thing stopping me as I'm really happy with my current Dell.

- Similar quality to the existing Dell, cheap creaky plastic that wobbles when you touch the desk would be irritating
- I'm not keen on gloss screens or bezels at all, matt is the only way to go
- 1080p seems pointless at 27" so definately higher resolution
- 16:10 would be ideal but the ones I'm looking at are 16:9 and it's not a big problem
- I'm not really sure on budget maybe £400 tops but it's not a hard limit
- Using it for browsing, occasional video editing but mostly gaming
