Good adventure game?

Hi,

Is there any good adventure games been made in the past few years? I already have all the usual Lucasarts ones, just fancy something else.

I've played both seasons of Sam & Max, as well as the Strongbad and Wallace and Gromit games, and I've enjoyed them all a lot.

I liked The Longest Journey, Dreamfall and Ceville.

Not sure if that is the Adventure game we are talking about or not lol

Of the modern ones, Dreamfall is by far the best in my opinion but mainly for the story and 'adventure' the puzzling may be a bit too simple for a veteren of the Lucasarts if you are mainly in it for the gameplay.
Vampyre story is more like the classics with complex multi part puzzles and looks pretty lovely but the humour is a bit cheesy. Probably the closest to the old school style.
I've heard good things about Ceville but not had the chance to play it yet.

Runaway 1 + 2 are awesome. 3 is in production now too.

Ceville is also pretty good.

OK I've just tried the demo and was very impressed, going to order the full game i think. Can't really go wrong for £2.99.
