Good anti-spam solution for email links

Being thoroughly sick of having my email addresses harvested by bots, I've updated my websites to this guy's solution. It prints the email address and mailto: link using javascript, so looking at the code doesn't give anything away to bots, but it looks the same for the user.

They are a pain those spam listers.

I found the best solution was to use a php secure contact form and took off the java encrypted email address.

Next vidahost installed a mail filtering system on their server, so that cut down the spam too. So in fact, rather than 20 a day like I used to get ... it's about 1 or 2 (presumably from a sad human).
