Good at games? Join MI5 :)

Applied for MI5 a couple of years ago.

Got past the first couple of stages of the interview process.

They said to apply again in the future if any suitable positions arose.

Reason why I think Gamers wont make good spies

1. No pause button in real life
2. No option to restart a level in real life
3. weapons (guns etc..) are not laying in the middle of streets
4. Real people have better AI than games characters
5. If you crash a car at high speed it wont be so easy to run away or carry on doing what you are trying to do

hehe just seems daft, im sure there will be a very very small percentage of gamers who could be good at being spies but then im sure thats just the same as to people who dont play games

Which of course, you now won't be doing, have just alerted several thousand people to this fact :D

"This is where we really are a unique place to work. Owing to the sensitivity of our work, discretion is vital. For this reason, you must limit those you tell about your application to your immediate family (parents and/or siblings) and/or your partner. We will ask you who knows that you have applied during the recruitment process. With the exception of the Director General, the identities of staff are not disclosed publically. Should your application be successful, you will be given a full briefing on the reasons why it is important not to disclose that you are a member of the Security Service."
